Security Breach in Parliament Raises Concerns: A Closer Look at the Incident

"Parliament Security Breach: Unveiling Concerns and Investigation Details"

In a recent alarming event at the country's Parliament (13Dec-2023), a major security lapse occurred, leaving many questions about the safety of lawmakers. Two individuals managed to breach security, entering the Parliament and creating chaos by jumping from the audience gallery into the midst of MPs. A video capturing the incident reveals a frantic scene as smoke billows through the House, prompting MPs to flee in panic.

The identified intruder, named Sagar, and his companion gained access using Lok Sabha visitor passes under the guise of being MPs. Both individuals were apprehended within the Parliament premises and are currently in custody. The Anti-Terror Unit's Special Cell from the Delhi Police is conducting an investigation into the incident.

Coincidentally, this event unfolded on the 13th day of the year, following a terrorist attack on an elderly MP. The incident has raised serious concerns about the security measures in the new Parliament building. Media reports suggest the use of "color bombs" during speeches by BJP MPs, resulting in the detention of one male and one female suspect.

The detained male, reportedly aged between 20 and 25 years, is currently being interrogated by the police. The individuals in custody are identified as Anmol and Neelam, with Neelam hailing from Maharashtra and the male suspects having names "Sagar Sharma" and Manoranjan, reportedly from Karnataka and Mysore.

The involvement of CRPF jawans in this security lapse prompts thoughtful consideration and demands a thorough investigation. The breach, allowing individuals to enter the new Parliament House with smoke guns and bombs, must be addressed by the concerned security agencies. A transparent disclosure of the inquiry findings through a media conference is crucial to maintaining public trust in the security apparatus.
